Tips on how to prepare for this event
Our dress code is stated as Cocktail Fab'. Cocktail attire generally means elegant dresses for ladies and dark suits for men. We've added the Fab' part, so other truly fashionable attire is also acceptable.
AUCTION AND BIDDERS:
Pre-registration for bidders will occur during Cocktail Hour on the day of the event. As a registered bidder you will be given an auction paddle with a unique number, and you will be entitled to preferred seating near the front of the theater for you and one guest as available. Registration is free.
PARKING & ENTRANCES:
Parking for ticket holders is located behind the Frist Center for the Visual Arts and entry is at the rear of the building.
Valet parking is available at the red carpet entrance located at the front of the building off Broadway. Anyone may use this entrance and walk the red carpet; however, only invited VIP guests will be allowed to proceed to the private pre-show meet-and-greet.
Invited VIP guests should use the red carpet entrance off of Broadway.
A mix of seating and standing room only is available in the theater, and additional seating is available in the Grand Lobby for those wishing to mingle, socialize or just rest their feet.
The best way to ensure a seat is to pre-register for the auction, and even if you don't bid on anything you will still be afforded a place to sit as available. We do not anticipate that all guests will want to participate in the bidding, so we have made a best guess determination as to how many bidders and seats we will need.
The pace of the show will be set by our DJ, and it is intended to be lively and fun, so feel free to move to the groove.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED DURING THE EVENT.
Handicapped patrons should enter at the hanicapped entrance off of 9th Ave., and they will be afforded a designated area in the theater for wheel chairs and assistants as necessary.
THE CATCH ALL:
If you are not satisfied with your experience during this event, please let one of our volunteers know, and we will do our very best to accommodate you. As this is a first time event, we are bound to have overlooked a few things, but ultimately we want to ensure that you have a great time, as we come together to support some children who will really benefit from your patronage.
